For those readers who ware sitting on the fence waiting to adopt Windows Server 2012 in favor of Windows Server 2016, you may have a ways to wait. While initial estimates were that Windows Server 2016 would be generally available in Q1 of 2016, it has been announced that it will be more like Q3 of 2016. That means that reliable books and study materials will not be generally available until well into 2017. I, myself, am planning to stick with Windows Server 2012 at least through the 2017-2018 school year because preparing new classes on a new version of server in less than a year is just not practical. Besides, most analysts agree that businesses are unlikely to adopt Windows Server 206 until at least 2017 or 2018 since they are just getting settled with Windows Server 2016. Here is an article discussing the projected timeline and some new features in Windows Server 2016. https://goo.gl/NqpTtF
In the mean time, I plan to post articles about new features in Windows Server 2016 as I learn about them. I fully expect to write the MCSA books for Windows Server 2016 so I need to get cracking learning it!
